Review– Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Powder

I picked up Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Skin-Transforming Powder  when I was at the Target.

Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Skin-Transforming Powder apparently improves your skin’s appearance with each use.

This was created with acne prone skin in mind as it does contain salicylic acid. It’s a mattifying powder that smooths skin and evens out skin tone with sheer coverage. I purchased it in Nude Beige that was a tiny bit too dark for me

As I said above I like the compact a lot. It contains a generously sized mirror as well as two compartments side by side one of which holds the powder and the other the sponge. It’s a great compact for travel as the mirror is big enough for easy to touch upos. It holds 0.32 oz of powder.

I’ve been using it for nearly a week and so far, and I love it. The powder is fairly dense but applies with a silky smooth finish.

It isn’t a heavy powder, it feels very light and weightless and provides smooth, breathable coverage. The is sheerer coverage so, if you have a good deal of imperfections to cover it likely won’t do the job. I thought it evened out my skin tone nicely and eased dullness nicely. This is a nice light powder for natural Summer looks or to you use in conjunction with a sheer tinted moisturizer. It isn’t however, a full coverage foundation powder. The wear time was around 4 hours for me in warm weather and a touch up was required. I got about five hours in a colder environment.

Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Skin-Transforming Powder is a good pick up if you like lighter, sheerer powder foundations or if you’re looking for a Summer powder that provides natural, mattifying coverage. This isn’t a good pick for drier skin types but oily ones will enjoy the mattifying, natural finish and it should be an excellent pick for those with problematic skin.
