Smashbox Photo Matte Eyes palette

Hola Beauties 🌺🌺🌺

I knew I didn’t need another eyeshadow product, let alone a palette. But the heart wants what it wants…..

It’s a ligit “Matte” palate …So I said “yes please” 🙂  to this collection of mattes and I think it’s a great everyday assortment of some neutral browns and taupes with a few other colors.

The formula works great for both the eyes and eyebrows, it blends out good on the eyes and stays in place on the brows and also when used as an eyeliner with a damp brush. Some of the browns are very close to each other in color, but that’s not a biggie. I have even used the lightest brown shade for contouring and it works great. I highly recommend this for mature eyes as well, pair it with a good primer and you will get no creasing whatsoever.

Think of it as the petite palette with potential for any look – from understated to amped up.

Includes: 8 all-matte wet/dry shades that can be used as liner, shadow or brow powder.

Shades:

  • Haze (light gray)
  • Rosehip (muted pink)
  • Grounded (medium cool brown)
  • Wheat (soft warm brown)
  • Vanilla (soft light beige)
  • Desert (medium/neutral brown)
  • Earthy (warm brown)
  • Canyon (dark brown)

It is sleek portable version that’s perfectly sized for your clutch, carry-onbag or even office drawer. It’s truly everything you need for eyes in one must-have portable palette.

And it is formulated without parabens, sodium lauryl sulfate, phthalates, oil and fragrance.

Smashbox has two matte palates Photo Matte Eyes & Matte Exposure. If I were to pick either one or the other, I definitely prefer the Photo Matte Eyes palette because the Matte Exposure has more darker shades that are harder to work with.

That all for today’s post 🙂 🌺
