April Favourites

April has been fascinating as I tried a bunch of new products.

Onto this month’s new loves.

Glow Tonic  by Pixi

It removes dead cells, excess oil, and makeup gunk that’s gotten into your pores, all while allowing you to hang on to the good stuff your skin needs, even if it’s sensitive. It makes skin legitimately brighter over time because it contains 5 percent glycolic acid (an exfoliating alpha hydroxy acid). But it’s also not irritating because the acid has been partially neutralized by ammonium hydroxide. As for what your skin feels right away? No tightness, no flushed heat, just a pleasant cleanliness. So over all I like this product and will be testing it for one more week before giving a full review on it.

Skin Deva product 20% Vitamin C+E+Ferulic acid serum

IMG_2227The Skin Deva product 20% Vitamin C+E+Ferulic acid serum is a product that promotes fresh looking youthful skin whilst being rejuvenated. This serum helps to build collagen while it reverses the signs of ageing but also the environment’s pollution that surrounds us on a daily basis. Also important to know and it fabulous, is that the product also promotes to help exfoliate the skin. Getting rid of dead skin cells, promoting blood flow to increase brand new skin cells. Skin rejuvenation. All you need is a few drops onto your fingers and you gently smooth it onto your cleansed face. The serum will dry up fast and its non greasy. Whats also amazing about this product is that it’s not tested on animals, it cruelty free, natural and absolutely paraben free!

Baahubali 2 The Conclusion

Don’t judge Baahubali. Just savour it.

It’s the sheer magic of terrific storytelling combined with a visual grandeur rarely seen in Indian cinema that turns it into an experience that’ll be hard to forget anytime soon. It is a visual extravaganza that everyone must feast on.
Baahubali has been sketched out as such a symbol of strength and power that he makes you root for him throughout. Prabhas is terrific as father and son. This part provides an answer to a question in everyone’s mind for the last two years—it tells you why Katappa, the old faithful, killed Baahubali. Of course it is CGI and VFX that grab you in your seat, but Baahubali2 also takes you on an emotional rollercoaster ride. The romance between Devasena and Amarendra has the fairytale fervor. Anushka as Devasena looks bold and confident. From the posture, the background, to her body language, each and everything talks about royalty. She looks every bit like royalty decked up with minimalistic makeup, open tresses and gold ornaments.
