Hey everyone!
I have a compilation of my favorite Budget makeup products!
1. CoverGirl cgsmoothers BB cream (8$)
I love the coverage, finish and longevity of the BB cream, BUT I hate the shade selection. I have to ‘mix’ the 2 shades 815 and 813 to get my perfect shade but I feel that defeats the purpose of a quick fix product. It is effortless to blend as well but is a little sheerer and feels water based though not too runny or thin. It gives a soft glow to my skin and evens it out.I still like it a lot though and would recommend it to women with oily skin.
2. Lakme Eyeconic Kajal (3$–Rs 199 bought it from India)
This is the only kajal I’ve used up completely (though I used it more as a liner than kajal!). I love it! Its soft and creamy in texture, fairly smudgeproof and stays on well. Priced at Rs 199 its pricier than Maybelline Colossal (Rs 150) but the Colossal Kajal stings my eyes a little so I avoid using it.
3. Rimmel London scandaleyes precision micro eyeliner(5$)
I love this liquid eyeliner. Usually I’m not a fan of pen style liquid liners. They either dry out really fast, they smudge, or the tip becomes soft and unusable after just a few uses. Not this one! It is black, but not as deep as some other liners that I’ve used. However, unlike other pen liners, this doesn’t smudge. I wore this on a hot and humid day and it did not melt on me.
4. Rimmel London Kate Moss Collection in the shade 107 (6$)
I think the Rimmel London Matte lipsticks are just fantastic! They may not be super creamy and smooth but they are very pigmented and stay on very well.. I love the shade selection of this range – nudes, fuchsias, pinks, oranges, corals, reds – this range has everything!
5. Rimmel London Lipliner —Under my spell(3$)
The formula is not drying at all, which is something I struggle with. The colour is nice and lasts all day on me. It is creamy and glides on nicely. I like how it is a roll up type of pencil. The color range of Rimmel is fab as always.
6. Sephora Translucent colorless setting powder (20$)
This powder does what it says, it is great for keeping my skin matte, setting makeup without looking cakey and doesn’t have a color on its own, so it doesn’t turn you white. However, if you don’t blend this well enough, this does not photograph well with flash!! The problem is, you cannot tell if you have blended it enough, unless you take a flash photo to check the flash back.
